Registration packets for the 2008-2009 skating season are now available from your coach.  

Registration day is Friday, August 8th from 9:00 until 12:00 noon.

Registrations may be turned in early to the TAFS mailbox.  However, if the registration is turned in after Friday August 8th, 2008 there will be a $25 late fee.

1 Session = 50 Minutes

All sessions begin on the hour (unless noted otherwise).

Senior** = 11 a.m., 12 noon, & 1 p.m. Sessions

[i.e., Skaters able to land ALL double rotation jumps (salchow, toeloop, loop, flip, lutz, and axel) & skaters working on triple rotation jumps]

Junior* = 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9 a.m., & 10 a.m. Sessions

[i.e., Skaters NOT able to land ALL double jumps (double salchow, toeloop, loop, flip, lutz & axel)].

Note: Junior skaters may skate on a Senior Session ONLY with the permission and supervision of a Troy Academy of Figure Skating Coach.

Adult Session

ICES will be adding an "Adult Session" on Saturdays mornings, beginning June 7, 2008 (see time listed below).  The adult session will include a 30 minute group lesson focusing on freestyle and skating skills, followed by 30 minutes of free practice time.  ICES/TAFS welcomes adults from DSC (& other clubs) to come and join us!  Cost = $20.00/session (includes ice and coaching fees). Saturdays 12-1 p.m. (thru the end of August 2008)

Beginning Sept. 2, 2008 --> Adult Session will move to Fridays 6:15 p.m.

All Skaters MUST be a member of the Troy Academy of Figure Skating Club (2 drop-in sessions for outside non-club members are allowed with the permission of a Troy Academy of Figure Skating Coach).

Skaters must sign-in before taking the ice.

Cost = $9 per 50 minute session (pre-paid card), or

 $12 session (non pre-paid) for drop-in.
